*Terms & Conditions
The tuition price lock offer lets full-time undergraduate students avoid annual tuition increases by locking in the University’s 2019-20 international tuition amount (based on twelve credits per semester) for up to four (4) years. The price lock rate includes tuition only; additional University fees charged and costs incurred by students are not included in the tuition price lock offer. Students must pay their full first-year tuition and fees (including housing, dining, health insurance, and any other required fees) by May 31, 2020, to take advantage of the offer.
If, for any reason, a student does not maintain consecutive full-time enrollment (withdraws or drops out of the institution), he/she is ineligible to return at the locked rate and will be charged the then-standard rate of tuition for the remaining semesters of attendance.
Students must be in good academic and behavioral standing throughout the duration of the price lock to remain eligible for the locked rate.
American Collegiate DC (ACDC) students who pay their full first-year ACDC tuition and fees (including housing, dining, health insurance, and any other required fees) by May 31, 2020, will receive the tuition price lock for up to four (4) years at American University only. The price lock offer is not available at ACDC transfer schools. ACDC students must meet American University’s progression requirements to qualify for admission to American University after completing ACDC. See additional ACDC terms and conditions here.
The tuition price lock offer runs from May 1 through 31, 2020.
The tuition price lock is not offered at Auburn University Montgomery, UMass Boston, Mercer University and University of New Hampshire.
A 1-year only tuition price lock applies to: (1) all graduate students, and (2) undergraduate students at University of Central Florida and American Collegiate Los Angeles, provided such students meet all requirements outlined in these terms and conditions.
See Section 4 (ACDC) above.
Courses that do not use the standard undergraduate tuition rate, such as graduate level courses, summer courses, and extracurricular courses are not included in the price lock offer.
Scholarship amounts are separate from and are not included in the locked tuition rate.
COVID-19 and other travel restrictions:
If, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a student’s fall semester is transitioned online to American Collegiate Live, the price lock will remain in effect provided the student meets all requirements outlined in these terms and conditions, including full payment of tuition and fees (including housing, dining, health insurance, and any other required fees) by May 31, 2020.
Students who receive the price lock but are prohibited from traveling to campus due to visa or travel restrictions have the following options:
Apply all paid tuition fees to Fall 2020 American Collegiate Live. We will credit any remaining pre-paid tuition and fee amounts to the student’s subsequent on-campus semesters.
Defer enrollment until 2021 Spring or Summer semester.
Request a full refund (including deposit).
